Global Collaborations

Brighton’s TedEd Clubs
TED-Ed Clubs are a part of TED-Ed’s Student Talks Program – a free curriculum for students and educators on a mission to identify, develop, and deliver student ideas via TED-style talks!
Brighton is the first school in Pakistan to initiate a TED Ed club and first school to send our students and teachers to participate in TED Ed weekend in New York TED Ed headquarters. Between the excellent-quality videos and the extensive flipped-classroom lesson plans, TED-Ed is a great resource for kids looking for education, inspiration, and fun.

LEAF ‘Learning and Ecological Activities Foundation for Children’
Earth Watching Club (EWC) is a community-based environmental learning project funded by the city of Nishinomiya, Japan. There are 29,300 schoolchildren who are participating. We take many kinds of “Eco-Actions” on a daily basis to make our community a better place not just for ourselves, but for all the people and creatures on the Earth — for generations to come.
This is an annual exhibition providing an opportunity for young people, both from Japan and overseas, to present their opinions, research, projects and activities on local and global environmental issues. We receive so many exciting works every year from Japan and overseas, from tiny, little craftworks to wall-size presentations on various environmental projects. We treat each and every work equally and present them ALL at the gallery. Our Young Brightoners have been actively participating since last six years in this wonderful exhibition. Our students have been presented with letter of appreciation by mayor of Nishinomiya, Japan , award certificates and loads of souvenirs.
WWF Pakistan
In order to bridge the awareness and knowledge gaps of the government and general public, and to tackle the growing conservation challenges, WWF-Pakistan was established in 1970 to create a future where people could live in harmony with nature.
Our students have been regularly participating and bagged awarded in Spellathons and various contests by WWF.
Brighton supports the WWF to collaborate with people around the world to develop and deliver innovative solutions that protect communities, wildlife, and the places in which they live.

PROJECT EVERYONE – World’s Largest Lesson
Brighton is proud to be a part of the World’s Largest Lesson educator community!
Project Everyone seeks to put the power of great communications behind The Global Goals, accelerating the creation of a fairer world by 2030, where extreme poverty has been eradicated, climate change is properly addressed and injustice and inequality are unacceptable.
World’s Largest Lesson brings the Global Goals to children all over the world and unites them in taking action. Brighton had introduced the largest lesson in the world in 2016 and continues to teach lessons, run projects and engage young people in supporting the Global Goals!
We believe all children everywhere should have the opportunity to learn about the Global Goals and feel inspired to take action for them. When students develop a sense of global citizenship, they learn to respect seminal universal values such as peace, sustainability and upholding the human rights and dignity of all people. Global citizenship programs develop students’ knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. At Brighton we promote use of the Sustainable Development Goals in learning so that children can contribute to a better future for all. From citizenship and justice to climate change and the environment, inspire children to make a difference!
